Privacy Policy

A plain-language description of what the website and Chrome assistant process, what stays on your device, and what you can delete.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the FF Draft Boards website, account and community features, and FFDraftBoards Assistant. The website and extension are independent fantasy-football tools and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ESPN or its affiliates.

2. Information the website processes

  • Account information: when you continue with Google, the server receives your Google account identifier, email address, and profile name through the standard OpenID Connect profile flow. FF Draft Boards does not receive or store your Google password.
  • Profile information: your account email and provider identifier remain private. A separate username is public when you publish rankings or otherwise participate in community features.
  • Saved product data: signed-in users may store ranking sets, player order and tiers, an active-board choice, ranking imports, connected-league summaries, scoring and league settings, and sanitized league or draft details needed for the requested feature.
  • Community activity: published ranking titles, descriptions, tags, ranking snapshots, public username, ratings, favorites, use counts, and update dates are public. Reports and the reporter's account email are private and used for moderation.
  • Technical request information: hosting and security providers necessarily process items such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and request time when delivering the service. FF Draft Boards does not currently run a separate analytics product.

3. Information that stays on your device

You can create rankings without an account. An anonymous board is saved in this browser's local storage until you clear site data or migrate it into an account. FFDraftBoards Assistant stores rankings, ESPN draft and league identifiers, fantasy-team mappings and display names, completed picks, available-player state, recommendations, timestamps, and optional sanitized diagnostics in Chrome extension storage so the live assistant can work.

On ESPN Fantasy draft pages, the extension reads the page URL, draft settings and order, player selections and IDs, fantasy-team IDs and names, pick numbers, roster state, and read-only live-draft network messages needed to recognize completed selections. It may use the browser's existing ESPN session for a narrowly allowlisted league read, but it cannot read the cookie value.

The extension exchanges ranking and draft state with an open FF Draft Boards page in the same browser and may request a player profile from FF Draft Boards using a player ID and scoring format. The audited code does not send ESPN cookies, passwords, authorization headers, session tokens, full request headers, raw network payloads, or commands that draft, reset, or alter an ESPN roster to FF Draft Boards servers.

4. Ranking files

CSV, XLSX, and PDF ranking files are parsed in your browser. The raw uploaded file is not stored as a public download or sent to the server by the audited import flow. If you save or publish the result, FF Draft Boards stores the normalized player ranking rows and metadata you chose—not the original file.

5. Why information is used

  • Authenticate your account and keep it secure.
  • Save, sync, import, and activate your ranking sets.
  • Provide requested league, player-profile, and live-draft features.
  • Publish, rate, favorite, copy, report, and moderate community rankings.
  • Operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
  • Comply with law and enforce the Terms.

6. Cookies and similar storage

FF Draft Boards uses an HttpOnly session cookie for up to 30 days and temporary OAuth state/return cookies for about 10 minutes. Anonymous rankings use browser local storage. The extension uses Chrome extension storage. Advertising and separate analytics scripts are not currently enabled. See the Cookie Policy for the exact categories.

7. Service providers and disclosures

Information is processed by service providers needed to operate the product, including Google for sign-in and the website's cloud hosting, database, delivery, and security infrastructure. Requested connections also involve the supported fantasy platform you choose. Public football data providers supply player and statistical data, not account authentication. FF Draft Boards does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed if required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

8. Advertising and analytics

The website reserves spaces for future advertising, but no advertising script is enabled in the audited build and the Chrome assistant contains no ads. If advertising or non-essential analytics are enabled later, this policy and the consent controls will be updated before those technologies load where consent is required.

9. Retention

  • Account and saved product data remain until you delete the data or your account, unless a legally required retention period applies.
  • Sessions expire after up to 30 days and may be revoked sooner by signing out or deleting the account.
  • Anonymous website rankings remain until browser data is cleared or the board is migrated.
  • Extension-local information remains until reset, Chrome data is cleared, or the extension is removed.
  • The operator must confirm a specific server-log retention period before launch.

10. Your choices and deletion

You may avoid creating an account, keep rankings only on your device, unpublish your community ranking, clear browser or extension storage, disconnect saved league records, or delete your entire account. Account deletion removes profile, authentication, sessions, saved rankings and imports, league connections, community publications, and community interactions associated with the account. Start at Data deletion or use Account Settings.

11. Security

FF Draft Boards uses server-only OAuth credentials, HttpOnly cookies, hashed session tokens, input limits, and scoped extension permissions. No system is perfectly secure. Please contact the privacy address if you believe data or an account is at risk.

12. Children

The minimum permitted age has not yet been selected by the operator. Launch is blocked until the owner confirms an age rule appropriate to the product and applicable law. FF Draft Boards is not designed to knowingly collect information from children below that confirmed age.

13. Changes and contact

Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date and, when appropriate, an in-product notice. Privacy questions and requests: support@ffdraftboards.com.
